I live in Portsmouth and have worked in Chillicothe for 25+ years. Casa is hands down the best when it comes to fast food Mexican. I have ate lunch there almost every Taco Tuesday for 25 years and Taco Bell has never been considered since then.

I like casa del taco got good food, way better than taco bell but I am disgusted with the drive thru. Went there yesterday and ordered 6 tacos 2 burritos, a quassia and fried, they asked me of I wanted taco sauce, I said yes please so when I got home, I opened the bag and they I. Gave me 2 little taco sauce cups and they weren’t even full. All that food and I got only 2 sauces. When someone says they want taco sauce, they need to at least ask how many or at least give the customer one per item.
The best. I am from Chillicothe and I moved to Kentucky when I was 5 and Im 16 now . When we go visit I get 30 burritos and 23 things of hot fries and as much sauce as I can to take home. A trip to Chillicothe is not complete with out it. This is the best food ever . I love it and recommend it to every one.
Don’t let the 80’s decor fool you.. Ignoring the kitsch, the food here is fresh, tasty, and moderatly priced. As it’s more of a local thing, the presentation is basic, no frills, here-you-go-and-enjoy appraoch. The Iced tea, is well chilled, and tastes like it should. The nacho’s, chips, crisp and done perfectly. Meat is a better cut than Taco Bell, frsher dressings, and a generous helping with your order.Salsa’s come in either mild, or surpisingly hot. You leave filled, and content.A good indication of the quality offered, is that whereever Casa del taco opens..Taco Bell competes close by. True of both locations. Avoid the corporate greed, and support a local business.
