Donuts away from home. I was born and raised in Chillicothe, moved to Michigan and was away for over 20 years. But, that didn’t keep me from getting my Crispie Creme Donuts. Whenever my brother would visit I always made it a point to have hm grab me some. One time he called me from the donut shop, I was in Ann Arbor, to let me know they were out of cake sticks, I about cried because I knew that I wasn’t gonna get my Crispie Creme that weekend. But now I’m back and am definitely a regular customer.
Thanks Crispie Creme for making me welcome.. I really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere of this neighborhood gathering spot almost every morning during Thanksgiving week this year. The employees and regular visitors welcomed me and visited with me like I was one of their family members. The conversations here were like those we enjoy in the best internet groups where people have stream-of-consciousness conversations about all kinds of topics, friendly banter, and concern for each other and interest in their life experiences. The donuts are wonderful! The lemon filled and raspberry filled donuts are my favorite. I ate more than I should, but NOT as many as I wanted! I look forward to my next visit to my Ohio family and expect to visit Crispie Creme again.
To go or sit and talk. BEST coffee in town. stop here after work most every day.donuts are FRESH, the people at the counter are friendly and the people on the working side of the counter are TERRIFIC….friendly, polite,quick to get your order.
Cinnamon rolls. I like simple cinnamon rolls (not the big as my head, gooey with 1,000 calories) and this place has them. You can get them with white icing, plain, glazed and with maple icing. Always a good special every once in a while.
