A childhood favorite. The food is good I always get the fish sandwich the outside is set up like a sonic (where you order at your parking space over a microphone) and I haven’t been inside in probably 9 or 10 years, When I read the other review talking about the phones at the tables I remembered that and now I might have to make a special trip inside just for old time’s sake 🙂

That’s SOME burger …. The Sumburger is the reason to come, but I also like the perch and chopped steak sandwiches. The ordering by phone is a unique twist, but the crushed ice in the drinks is something that you don’t get everywhere. The cole slaw can vary day-by-day, but when you are dealing with freshly made slaw, you’ll have that. The best days are when it’s nice and creamy.The service is good. On one occasion, they didn’t have A-1 for my chopped steak and an employee literally ran across the street to a grocery store to get some for me.
Sumburgers are delicious! I know all the meat is fresh and the sauce is out of this world! You can take a quart home. Milkshakes are best in town hands down!
