I was a big fan of the salmon wrap and curry turkey soup that is sold here. I’d told many people about it and even posted my food on my Facebook page. However, the experience I just had left me in aw of not only the lack of service but also embarrassed and intimidated by the staff. I ordered at 9:03am, the same meal I’ve come to know and love- even the day before. I inquired about what the two * marks indicated on the menu. The employee told me it meant the meal could be made vegan. I went on to say because it’s already vegetarian since salmon isn’t meat. When I arrived, she took my card and swiped it. Moments later she said they were no longer serving the soup I ordered and would I like the other soup or a different side. The soup was extra so she said she owed me a couple dollars and asked if I wanted it. Of course, so she asked for my card and put the money back- which it takes 3 days to reflect. She proceeded to serve other customers while I stood there waiting on crutches. Instead of the 10-15 minutes she said it would take for my order to be ready ( which it took me at least 10 min to arrive) it was over 25 additional minutes). I asked her for foil. When my food was ready, she did not have the foil and went to help other customers instead of finishing with helping me. When I got to my destination (which was at least 20 minutes away), I later realized that I had not received a salmon wrap. I called and explained my problem. He said they would give me a credit. I asked if I could also get my money back for all of the inconveniences. He said he understood and that he would make a note of it and that I could come by. When I went back, the lady, who is apparently a manager, said that she heard me say another type of wrap. I explained that I don’t even know what that was and that I speak very clear English (as I am an English teacher). She continued to talk about how she repeated the order back to me. I told her that she said salmon wrap to me. She disagreed. She seemed upset but said she would credit my money back to my card (which takes 3 days to reflect). I explained what I was told on the phone and she said she could not also give me a credit. I talked to her about how that wasn’t right that I was told that and expressed that I’d been inconvenienced. I asked for her managers name and she said it was the owner. I asked for the contact information and she said they were too busy. I went back to the car and got the menu after filling out a review on Facebook. I asked her to show me on the other wrap where there were two * marks. She said she didn’t remember me asking a bout 2 * marks ( although she responded , telling me that meant it can be made vegan). She became very flustered and asked me what I wanted her to do – she made a mistake and what is she supposed to do about it. I explained that she could uphold what I was told. She said she wasn’t going to do anything more than what she already did. I asked why did you ask me, if you weren’t going to do anything more. And what were her suggestions because now my bank account has deductions that won’t be reinstated for 3 days. I asked her how she would feel if she was in my position. She proceeded to ask me if I needed to be escorted out. I expressed that doing that was not a way to treat a customer who spends money in their store and tells other people to come there because of their food. A big tall man comes from the kitchen and tells me that I need to leave the store and when I came, I changed my order. I proceeded to tell him that my order was changed because they did not have what I ordered not because I was being indecisive. He told me I needed to leave right now. I left, and I let them know that they would not treat everyone that way. However, I left because I did not want to become a news statistic. I felt as if he was trying to intimidate me, but as someone who has worked in customer service, I knew this was not fair or the way a customer should be treated. I left feeling that all I could do was leave, as I am on crutches and I am a female (120lbs, 5’3). I did not at anytime pose a threat to the staff but I felt threatened. There are a lot of things that could have been done. A note could have been left for the owners. An apology could have been given. A coupon could have been given off my next visit. I expressed that I hadn’t eaten as a result of this, a meal could have been given then. Or they just could have followed through with what I was told. Any of the those things- but to be embarrassed and intimidated because I knew what was going on wasn’t right and I expressed that in a firm manner, that was wrong. I hope the owner gets back with me but even if not, I will continue to share this story because I would hate for any of the hundreds of people I’ve recommended to go there to have to experience that type of treatment.

I’d had positive experiences here in the last but yesterday i had something that was supposed to be some kind of curry bowl but it was basically some coconut milk over rice with some bland chicken pieces mixed in. No seasonings, no vegetables or any other flavor or texture. It was really strange, like someone just didn’t know what they were doing. I don’t want to repeat that experience again so I won’t be returning.

This is an awful place. It is freezing inside. The coffee cups are dirty. The bathrooms are dirty. The food is only fair. We will not be back.

Fantastic Salmon Wrap. I like a good wrap, and their salmon wrap is the best wrap of any kind that I’ve ever had. Other reviewers mentioned the food being bland, but perhaps they haven’t tried this particular offering. It is loaded with flavor, very filling, and has been consistent every time I’ve ordered it.The guacamole is great as well.

Meh. Okay so that one simple word saysit all for me…and I know a few friends and family who might fight me on this one. But really, If was just OK. Nothing wow’d me here…maybe after hearing so much about it my expectations were too high?! Food seemed fresh, taste was okay but all entres I sampled seemed bland and not very inventive or exciting. Jury is out…I may give it another try when my brother in law who adheres to Gluten Free diet is in town? We’ll see…everyone deserves a second chance… or two in this case.
