Terrible service!. I’ve heard from many and experienced for myself the terrible service here. Was called and asked for a credit card over the phone to keep my reservation I’d had for weeks. Had no idea who was on the phone and she was very rude. Told her I didn’t feel comfortable giving that information over the phone to someone I didn’t even know where they were calling from and she delightfully told me she’d be more than happy to cancel my reservation. Very rude and very sarcastic. If this is how you’re treated from the start I would like to thank them myself for canceling my reservation and sparing me the pain of experiencing what they have to offer once you’re there! Wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but should have listened to other reviewers!
Bad ramen. Went for dinner for four. service was good. fantastic craft beer selection. ordered the ramen and was very disappointed. over cooked egg, lack luster generic chicken broth, and noodles that seemed to be straight out of a $0.50 pack of noodles. oh well. my friend liked her salad and sushi so that’s a positive.
Wonderful evening on the patio!. I had never been to Kaze before, but we loved the freshness of their fish, the diverse menu, and the ambiance. Service was excellent, even though the restaurant was completely full. Highly recommend!

Decent sushi and lunch specials, nice outdoor patio. I’ve only had a few sushi rolls from Kaze and they are usually pretty good, but not the best I’ve ever had, or the best in the city. They have daily lunch specials from 8-15 bucks and if its a nice enough day, they have a great little patio tucked away on the side of the building. Drink selection is good, pretty standard cocktails and beer selection for the area. The miso soup is really bland (even for miso soup), and the sushi is just so-so. I’d definitely go back to enjoy a cocktail on the patio, but I probably won’t order their sushi again.
Excellent Sushi. We ate here 7/6/14. The Over-the-Rhine area is very lively and bristling with sights, smells and sounds. We were there on Sunday and it was much quieter and more relaxed. We made reservations thru OT and arrived slightly early; the hostess led us past many nice tables to a two-top in the back by the server station!?! We balked and asked to see what was available outside; we found avery nice table by the bar. The sushi was very good and they offer both small (5 pieces) and large (10 pieces) rolls so you can get a sampling of several offerings. The service was slow at first but picked up and overall was pretty good. It was 1/2 price wine night and we purchased a very nice Chard for much less than the by-the-glass options. We would certainly go back and would recommend it for sushi lovers.
Great. I am now a vegetarian & I really miss sushi. I still eat veggie rolls but they are usually just cucumber or avocado & rice. Kaze has unique veggie rolls that are awesome. I didn’t feel like I was missing out at all. I can’t wait to go back.
