Well worth trying. We were in town for the wine festival and tripped in here for a quick dinner before the tasting started. Nice little hole in the wall atmosphere with good food. We had the hummus, chicken shawarma wrap and chicken kabob meal. Everything was delicious and served quickly. The only criticisms we had were that they did not have lamb available although it is on the menu and the price is a little steep for basic Lebanese diner food. With that said we’ll be back when we are in town again next year.UPDATE- Back in Cinti for the wine fest March 5th, 2016 and ate at Raya again. They had the lamb this time and it was absolutely perfect! Service was again super quick and it seems like the prices have been reduced a bit. Building still a bit run down but don’t let the dcor deter you. Give this place a try or it will be your loss.

Quaint, friendly and delicious. I went here about a month ago with my husband and sadly haven’t gotten the chance to return yet. My husband is from Jordan and our friendly server was more than happy to share a convo with him in Arabic(he’s always excited when he comes across fellow middle eastern people and tend to talk their ear off lol). We had the hummus, chicken sharma and gyro, all of it was uhmaaaayzing! Even the fries that came with my gyro were perfectly seasoned and fried. I can’t wait to go back and try their maqloobeh!

RAYA’S LEBANESE – KAFTAESQUE!. Even Kafka would smile after tasting Raya’s Kafta. Wrapped in Pita, the overflowing Kafta wrap fills you up for the whole day. After tasting Middle Eastern food all over Cincinnati, I can honestly write that this is the tastiest in town. The gyro was scrumptious and everything is well priced. The simple room, with scattered tables and counter seating, is very modest and no bar is to be found. My only regret with Raya’s is the limited menu, which has American choices scattered amongst its Lebanese offerings, thus shrinking the chance to taste more food from the Levantine. Who needs a burger when you havta kafta.

Very casual – great food!. The non-profit Inventor’s Council of Cincinnati has been meeting for dinner at Raya’s every month ever since it opened. We’ve enjoyed our meals as well as the opportunity to learn about the foods, flavors and culture of our Lebanese neighbors. Everything is fresh, authentic and made to order!
