Great but noisy. We love this place. Great space. wonderful food. They need to spend some effort/money on adding sound dampening to the ceiling and walls where possible. We struggled to talk at a table for 4.

Salivating for Salazar. Reminiscent of the Left Bank or the West Village, Salazar is a dining gem unique for the Midwestern United States & becomes another reminder of the new Cincinnati. This isn’t your older brother’s Cincinnati anymore!Steps from the resplendent Music Hall & a block from the renovated Washington Park, Salazar represents its gentrifying neighborhood, Over-the-Rhine (OTR) in all its hip glory without the pretension. The proud owner-chef, Jose Salazar, by way of Queens, NY & The Palace Hotel, provides innovative cooking with food that tastes good. Ample portions satisfy those Midwest appetites. The wine list is filled with unique and very reasonable choices, touching all bases and reaching most palates. The decor, designed by Chef Salazar’s wife, is a perfect blend of chic and warmth, somehow making the tiny space feel expansive. Service is professional with a dose of the Midwest nice. Salazar is right on tune & doesn’t miss a note, perfect for its proximity to the Music Hall. It’s just another example of the Queen City’s awakening and Salazar is to be treasured. Long live the Queen!
