Most of the time, the food here is really good. We were in recently and the AC didn’t seen to be working well; it was really hot. We also made a reservation for a larger table to seat at least 9 and the set up was quite strange. I loved their cajun fried mushrooms and the ribs, pork chop, and jumbalaya were all hits! Do I feel the need to run back? No. Would I go back? Yes. I think the menu is worth exploring further. I think the atmosphere and service is hit or miss. gotheretrythat.com
Just like Bella Luna I have driven by this place a million times. For the longest time I thought it was a antique store until I had a friend tell me it was also a restaurant. My wife is kinda high end so she didn’t like drinking out of a mason jar. I don’t care what my drink comes in as long as it’s fresh and tasty. My daughter was with as usual. Started off with a dozen oysters, small but fresh. The bartender said they get so many in once a day and once they are gone, that’s it. Thanks Mr obvious. I have to say it was one of the best pork chops (i should say chop) i have ever had. I was the topping that put it over the top, a butter blue cheese dollop that was melting into the pork chop when it came out. Delicious. The chop was grilled to perfection. It had nice grill marks on the outside and no burnt taste. It was nice and medium inside, thick, tender and juicy. The ladies had salads because they were both on a diet. Guess what, they kept asking me for tiny little pieces of pork because mine was the best, typical. Their salads were huge and they both liked them but you could tell they wished they ordered the pork chop. This is a cajun place and I heard the cajun food is pretty good for being so far from Louisiana. Its pricy but if you want a good pork chop then this is it.
