I have been here a handful of times, and EVERY TIME I have loved what I’ve eaten. My dad, who is a native New Yorker, fell in love with the pizza here on his first visit. He said it was the first authentic New York pizza he’s had anywhere outside of New York State. I think that’s the BEST compliment a place can get.
It was a split decision. The Spicy Italian pizza was great. Every topping added to great taste and it had a good level of spicy. But the Margherita was a total failure. No flavor and the fresh mozzarella was so watery that it turned the crust into mush.
Gourmet-esqe pizza for the same price as Laraosas? Yes please. We ordered in, which isn’t what you want to do here (only one table for eat-in patrons). Call for pick up or delivery and you won’t be disappointed. Great selection of beer and wine which they also deliver.
