Yummy Sunday brunch. I went to Tucker’s for the first time a few weeks ago. By the time I got there, my party had to wait for about 20-30 minutes probably. It was crowded. Our server told us it was because they just had an article about them printed in the paper. We didn’t mind the wait too much – we had actually just come from another restaurant where the wait for brunch was going to be 70+ minutes.I ordered a special – eggs benedict with goetta. It was pretty delicious. I don’t usually enjoy goetta too much, but it was quite tasty with eggs and hollandaise. I was also pleasantly surprised with the coffee. I feel that restaurant coffee is often hit or miss. I quite like their brew.I would recommend it and I will definitely go back again sometime. There were some other items I’m interested in tasting. They also had a couple vegetarian/vegan options, for those who are interested.

Even the pic for this review is from Tucker’s on Vine….best place ever!13 Mar, 2012Don’t get confused!!! Tucker’s on Vine is NOT associated with this Tucker’s!! Joe and Carla do it right check out Tucker’s on Vine and make sure to write a review on the correct location.
Funny!. I think it’s funny that every review here should be on the page for Tucker’s on Vine Street. This location is ran by the nephew of the other Tucker’s and serves different, simpler, greasier food. I used to come here all the time when I was a student at the Art Academy. I’m not so sure whether I liked the food or (the younger) Joe Tucker, probably a bit of both. Classic dirty greasy spoon fun.
Not only is this the perfect little old school diner, but it’s also the first place I’ve found up here withdecent grits! Small and cozy and straight out of the 1940s, what’s not to love?
Breakfast Heaven!. Seriously, the best breakfast in cincinnati! The owners, joe and Karla make this mom and pop shop the most welcoming place in this godforsaken city. You’ll find people from every walk of life here mashing out on some amazing food at incredible prices. They are meat and vegetarian friendly, with both breakfast and lunch. My boyfriend and I take up a whole table with this shared meal of: six cheese omelets (with asiago), home fries deluxe (with basil), grits, french toast (with fresh fruit), biscuits and gravy, bacon for him AND veggie sausage for me. We love it!!!!!!! Also, the service is great (thanks gio!) Tucker’s has been around since 1946, and will make your stomach a very happy organ indeed!
