If I could give it less than one I absolutely would. We used to love going there. But now the service is horrible. The people that work there are extremely rude. The woman that works the register is absolutely horrible. Refusing to except their own coupons.Food is decent but if you’re looking for a nice evening I recommend not going there.
This restaurant used to be my favorite but lately the service sucks. We can never get refills and even when the restaurant is slow we are being rushed out! Definitely going to Beechmont hibachi grill from now on.
Fair, 3/5. My friends and I visit China town buffet all the time, and I’d like to consider myself a bit of a CT professional. Overall, I love it but I have some complaints. The food is good (mostly), but on some days you can tell the staff aren’t swapping the food trays out. There are a couple of staff that seem aloof and pushy, but most of the staff (especially waiters) are very kind, and a couple know my party — or at least me — pretty well, to the point of joking now. The music choice is an interesting blend of traditional and modern oriental, with no real complaints on my end. I only wish the ice cream section had more options and maybe a syrup dispenser! The final verdict was a 3/5 mostly due to food freshness concern. Also, tip the sushi guy, he deserves it!
The servers are WAY to in your face. When a friend and I were eating here the server was always extremely close by. When we were paying she brought the check out and watched my friend count her bills at our table. And then checked her math at the table! The servers make you feel extremely uncomfortable. The food is good but the service needs work.
Love it!!!!. Chinatown has the most amazing coconut shrimp we drive a little over a hour to eat at Chinatown sweetest servers ever!!
Excellent For the Price. I recently went there with a friend, it was my treat for her birthday. She chose the location. I’m normally wary of Chinese buffets, especially those that have sushi. It was quite a shock to find out not only how gorgeous the interior was, but the food was exceptional. We both ate ourselves nearly to the bursting point for under $15. The food was exceptional, even the desserts, which generally are lackluster, were fantastic, and very light- which is always a good thing when you’ve already gorged yourself on wonderful food before-hand.For dining on a budget, or just for lunch for anyone, I highly recommend it. I fully intend on going back and soon.
Great Value!!. I have eaten here many times and for a buffet, the food is very good. Never disappointed.
