TERRIBLE! Was good at first but has deffinetly downgraded. Hibachi chef threw a temper tantrum when we asked for broccoli to be added to our vegetable hibachi meal and then when he actually cooked the vegetables he only gave us broccoli, after he slammed it on the grill and was yelling in whatever language he speaks. Way to much salt, and low quality meat. Shrimp tasted like rubber, and food overall has zero taste. Will NOT BE RETURNING!
We started with sushi, the Crunch Roll, and it was okay. The sushi at The Foreign Exchange is definitely the best on the east side. After that we experienced the hibachi grill. The chef was awesome! He was more entertaining than any hibachi chef I have ever experienced, including Benihana. The hibachi food was fabulous. We will definitely be back for the hibachi!
Best Sushi in Eastgate. Are there better sushi joints in the east Cincinnati suburbs? Well, in my opinion, only one. However, for the price (especially when you take advantage of their 1/2 off deals), it doesn’t get too much better. Though some of the servers are sticks in the mud (possibly a language issue), the rest of the servers are bright, bubbly personalities. The quality of their fish is good, and most of their offerings which I have tried were excellent.I have been able to dine there for lunch with my girlfriend, get filled on sushi and appetizers, and end up with a $22 bill (minus tip). I’ve spent that much at fast food joints before. usually, this would be 2 appetizers, 4 rolls, an order of nigiri, and a soda. Of course, we took advantage of the Monday-Thursday 1/2 deal. furthermore, their portions are much larger than the other Japanese place in the strip mall by Fuji.If you are new to the sushi thing, or have a hankering, this is a great place to go.

Deception!! False advertising!!. Ok they have a big sign out front telling specials for Monday-Thursday which can be seen a couple of reviews below this one. Wow 50% off apps and sushi rolls. Great deal huh and it would be if it was real. Ok the food was good I will say that. Service was ok…I had to ask three times for my appetizer and only got it when we was done and ready to leave. Then the bad news came. Everything was regular price…I asked why…Ohh that is simple only sushi off of a special list that they did not give us or even tell us about are included at 50% and for late coming appetizer it too was regular price. I do not take kindly to being deceived no matter how good the food is. There should be a list handed to you telling what was included in the special that and put the word select in front of their sign…then problem solved
This place is great. The atmosphere, the prices, the chief was entertaining, the food was awsome. It don’t get any better than this for a japanese steak house
