Walking in, you’re instantly taken back to the 1930’s; music playing, old-fashioned cash registers and the smell of good quality chocolate… My chocolate malt was amazing! Creamy, rich and served in an adorable glass with whipped cream, a cherry and a classic striped straw!
We went to Sweet Moses for the first time on a weekday. No wait. We both ordered sundaes. We probably should have just ordered one because they were HUGE! The wait staff was amazing and super friendly (and handsome, lol). From the sweets case I bought the biggest rice krispy treat dipped in chocolate ever and it was delicious. I bought some chocolate peanut butter cups which were boxed and wrapped and finished off with a ribbon. Perfect for gifts. The atmosphere is fabulous and the ice cream was delicious. Will definitely be back!! Highly recommend.
Very bad service!. This place is a very nice place and has great ice cream! But the service is horrible!! They are so unorganized! They have some slow rude people working there! I waited at the counter for over 45 min! they just walked passed like we wasn’t even there. Didn’t ask to take any orders or say we will be with you soon. I had to ask them after 45 min what was the problem. And after we ordered it took them another 20 min to give us our order and it was wrong! This place would be a great place if they would hire the right people!
Didn’t Like Being Ignored. The ice cream is awesome. The ambience was really cool. My daughter and I had a lot of fun! With that said… I was not pleased with about 70% of the customer service aspect. As we were trying to leave there was a bit of a rush and people were waiting in line for at least 10 minutes before I got up to pay and they were still just standing there being ignored when I was ready to leave. I asked one of the employees if we could be helped and he literally just stared at me. There were at least 2 people just refilling popcorn and didn’t even ask if anyone needed help or let us know that someone would be with us soon. One group just left because they were tired of being ignored. I honestly thought about just walking out, but I guess I’m too honest. We finally got our bill cleared after waiting almost 15 minutes. We might go back again, but it won’t be anytime soon.
Best chocolate chip ice cream ever !!!!!the rest of their stuff isn’t too bad either :)but seriously – you won’t find a better chocolate chip ice cream in cleveland (including the grocery store)
Nice place, has a great atmosphere of an old parlor. The ice cream is pretty good, but what’s great is the toppings and sauces.
Misses the mark. Beautiful atmosphere. Really captures the feel of an old fashioned soda fountain. We found the ice cream, however to be cloyingly sweet, and to have an off-putting, gummy mouth feel. Their ingredients may be all natural, but one of them really gives the ice cream an unpleasant texture. The service was, as repeatedly noted, very slow. All in all, I can’t say that our experience left us looking forward to a return visit.
