I’ve been eating Arlin’s for years! It’s one if my favorite places in Clifton. Menu is a bit limited, but it’s good solid bar food. Only serious complaint is how exorbitantly over-priced the juke box is.
I visit this place quite often because its close to home and has a relaxed atmosphere. Although I love the drinks here which are reasonably priced, I always order their Fries with Ranch, one of the best I have ever had. Never tried anything else from their food menu apart from the chicken wings which weren’t great.The only thing that bothers me here is the service. No bartender smiles at you or acknowledges your presence, they’ll take your order if you wave or scream and then serve like bored laborers who do repetitive tasks.

Chris is super nice and works the patio bar in the warm weather.The patio is big and nice in summer & fall. Bands sometimes play on the weekends. Burgers are good. So are the chicken wings. Arlin’s has draft beer specials too.The crowd is very eclectic. Ranges from collegiates at UC, Cincinnati State & XU to hospital employees to people that are residents in and around upscale Clifton Gaslight and trendy Northside.
Nice bar. This is one of the better bars in Clifton. The times that I went, it was comfortable yet fun. I’d occasionally stop by after classes when it was slow and have a beer. The patio setup they have is nice and the location is about as good as you can get. Due to it being at the other end of Burnet Woods from the campus, you don’t get as much of the college crowd here.
Great Neighborhood Bar. A really nice and laid back neighborhood Clifton bar where it’s a good place to meet up with friends or hang by yourself and relax where many folks from the surrounding neighborhood frequent this place.The drinks are reasonably priced and the food is pretty good for pub grub. The bartenders are friendly and call you by name. The outside patio is huge and sometimes offers live bands on weekends. It is also a gay friendly establishment as well.Arlin’s has the good fortune of being located on the corner of Ludlow and Clifton in the heart of that area.
