whenever we are in Clifton, usually to see a movie- we stop at Biaggios either for a meal, sandwich or his WONDERFUL desserts! In 3 years we’ve been there maybe 10 times. I’m getting hungry thinking about it- maybe this weekend…!

Felt like a cafe I once frequented in Rome! Lovely to be able to watch twin filets and fresh pasta made nearly table side…and they were divine! Hands down my favorite pesto linguine in town! Excellent coffee (no wonder…read his history!) and great puffs! Only disappointment…only…was the cannoli only because we hoped it’d rival our Boston favorites from Mike’s Pastry or Modern Pastry in North End…sadly these were a bit hard and could’ve maybe been better if the ricotta filling had a touch of sweetness and was less firm…maybe we rushed to eat them when they should’ve sat out of fridge case for a bit? Just sharing this openly but don’t let one pastry dessert dissuade you from going here! Good meal, fair price, family friendly if your children can actually sit at a table and not act out or run around.

Awesome little place. I feel like I’m in Italy when I am here, the food is very good (not fancy like Prima Vista or Nicolas, but very solid good), and I love the atmosphere and the people who work here.

Good atmosphere, foo iffy. Good place, like the atmosphere and great service but the food we had was bland, no attention to the little details like fresh basil on the brachetta. This was soggy and the apple salad was drenched in mayo.

Clifton Gaslight Gem. As a Clifton Gaslight resident, I am so happy Biagio’s is in the neighborhood. It is a great spot to meet a friend for lunch. The chicken salad sandwich is a favorite and comes with choice of soup or salad. If you are craving some comfort food , this is the spot for dinner. Makes a nice little date night or bring the whole family. The menu is not lengthy, but 2 nightly specials are usually offered in addition to choose from. I like the fact that choice of soup or salad is included with the meal. The desserts are delicious. My son has always loved the banana cream pie since he was a toddler.Biagio ( the owner) is a character and a good neighbor to the Clifton Community. This restaurant has a lot of regulars and the Clifton Gaslight Residents really like this restaurant.

Biagio’s is good but it’s nothing too special to someone who is familiar with great Italian cuisine. The service is spotty and unorganized but it doesn’t detract from dining. The prices are reasonable. Biagio’s is good but not great.
