This place reminded me of Hot Head Burritos, as in lower-quality Chipotle. The mango habanero salsa was probably my best take away. I didn't like that…

Good for a fast, portable meal. Even possibly somewhat healthy (with the beans and slaw toppings). The food is tasty and I like that there are spicy options. It’s an order-at-the-counter place and the service is fine (considering they’re probably underpaid students). For some reason I’m rarely motivated to go there unless I need something fast and cheap, but it’s good for those occasions.
Chips are the best. And the Chupa cabre burrito. But there’s a short lady who works there and I always get her…she is slow and such a bitch that I think I’ll stop going. Also, everything she makes is mostly cilantro. LAY OFF THE CILANTRO ALREADY.
Dirty kitchen, bland food. Does not look clean, neither do the employees. Food is bland. Chicken is soaking in water so your burrito is soggy. Salsas are all mild, no spice unless you request hot. Medium is mild. Not as good as it used to be.
Bland. No flavor and the ingredients aren’t all that fresh. I live next door and its still not worth going in.
Is this the best you can do, really?. I ordered the Porkopolis burrito. If I go back I’ll try ‘hot’, because the ‘medium’ didn’t even register on the spicy scale. Apple salsa was interesting, but had no zip at all. What does one do with half a plate of gross oily tasteless chips made from flour tortillas? One throws them away! Let’s add corn chips to the menu please, and salsa choices.
Total disappointment. After reading their website about how much better they are than ‘corporate’, I was really looking forward to trying something new. Guess I’m one of those losers that like ‘corporate’. My chicken burrito was completely tasteless, the salsa was terrible, and the chips were mediocre at best. On top of that, the two employees that waited on me (one making the burrito, one at the register) were both total jerks. I see corporate in my future.
Flavor?. I was really excited to try Habanero for the 1st time. I was greatly disappointed. I and my co-workers share the same opinion. The meals were really bland. Lacking in flavor and seasoning. Not what I would expect from a Latin restaurant.
