Stopped by this forever famous Clifton spot. I haven’t been here in a while and usually get the fried chicken.Today I was feeling just a quick meal and went with the club sandwich. Always delicious and sooo cheap. Friendly service and always a great breakfast place.
This place is an institution in Clifton – it’s been here for years and gets surprisingly packed for being such a small, unassuming, greasy spoon. It’s cheap, fast, home cooking. Nothing gourmet, but everything you would expect from an old-timey diner. Unfortunately, they don’t have pie at this location – apparently the other location does.
Cash only! I’ve been going to school in this area for several years and finally got the chance to stop in! Coffee was good, atmosphere was nostalgic almost. Oddly I wish they would get rid of the TV and replace it with an AM radio. I think that would complete the feel.
