Pumpkin custard. The only thing good about the end of summer iswaiting for Sandy’s to serve their PUMPKIN CUSTARD.I made a beeline on Sunday when I saw the sign out.Well, what a disappointment. The pumpkin flavor wasso weak. I will have to call them. It is either new owners or a bad batch. I will give them another try.It use to be the best pumpkin custard around—I hopeI can still count on this. Gayle from Euclid.
Good ice cream ruined by workers. Went there just now and was greeted by workers who lazily got up off the bench outside to make my oreo flurry that was sloppy with ice cream spilling off the side and only 3/4 of the cup full. Add to that the 4.65 price for a small and the headache of going there is just not worth it. The ice cream is great tasting, but it’s ruined 9/10 times I go there by the employees. I’m done.
Again, stale milk!!!!. A few years ago I got a milkshake from Sandy’s that just didn’t taste right. Let a few others get a whiff of it and the consensus was stale milk. After a quiet boycott I go back today for another milkshake and same skanky odor. The hot dog was of low quality as well, obviously the cheapest available at Aldi’s or Marc’s. Sandy’s was once a gem in a failing neighborhood. Now it fits right in.

2 DIE 4. First of all their footlongs are the best ever..the homemade sauce is what makes them so awesome..AND if you haven’t have one of their ‘hot fudge cakes’ then you haven’t lived!! I dream of these two things when the snow is flying and I know I can’t have them:(SANDY’S ROCKS….HARD!!
Best Foot Long Chili Dogs. This place is the best for Chili Dogs & don’t forget Euclid Beach Custard. Been around 40 years they are orginal owners and the best!!!
