What has his world turned into?. WOW, what has this world turned into, that we can no longer appreciate anything of the past? I may only be 45 years old, but I can honestly say that Stevenson’s is so much more then just a place to grab a burger…we have BK and McD’s for that…Stevenson’s HAS always been a place to take a step back in time, back when life was much simpler….. I think as a Whole, we have become way to complicated…thinking everything has to be fast, fancy and flashy…. Look I like a nice place to eat as much as the next person… BUT, I also APPRECIATE eating a burger in a place I KNOW my Mother and my Grandfather and my GREAT-Grandfather eat before me..and my Children ate after me…that’s five generations! I would really love it it could stay around long enough for my grandchildren to eat there as well. It is historical … I has never bothered me about the condition of the building or the grumpiness of the guy cooking… I NEVER gotten sick from eating there..NOT ONCE. So for you snobs that feel the need to put this place down, I feel sorry for you…what a loss. Must we always have to destroy the things in this world that add character and spirit to our life’s?

It’s amazing what some people consider the BEST in life. I guess one has to view it from the loyal patrons perspective: Simple mind, simple needs. Holding back my gushing sentimental tears, I can only extrapolate that such loyal dedication and logic is derived from the many blurred, lonely and blinding years of sitting alone at one’s favorite bar stool while drowning one’s self in significant quantities of cheap beer, redneck philosophy, women(none worth mentioning), depressing people and bowling machines. Of course, one shall be greeted with military resolve should they dare to cross the demarcation line of opposite opinion. A quick note to us clowns with your ignorant, arrogant and narrow sushi eating views: Never return and eat at my bar again!!!18 Jan, 2012This is a place that is stuck in a time warp from the Euclid beach sign hanging above the door inside to the 1930’s? decor(if you dare call it that). Looking at it from the outside, it looks as if it originally started out as a turn of the century(1900’s) stable or garage of sorts then sections of buildings added on over time. Not charming at all. Go inside and it feels like everything is out of square and leaning starting out with the floor due to deterioration, termites and rot? There’s an old bowling machine in there that amazingly still works that’s located directly across from the bar. The real shocker was when I finished my meal, which was just ok, and walked back outside. It felt as if I’d been catapulted back from another dimension LOL ……its a bit strange in there. So much, that I found myself looking at everything around me including the incredibly miserable owner who hobbles along common wear marks behind the counter in a comfortably numb and disconnected existence consistent with the artifacts of its interior. I’ve been there several times since because it serves as a good reference to what a true dive bar/restaraunt should look like. D-

A very dark and dingy hole of a joint-the smell of moldy, beer-stained carpet permeated the air-a really dismal place with marginal food and stale beer-why come here when there are so many better places
