Specialties Copious will serve to "feed your soul" in every way, through locally-sourced creations in the restaurant, a special wine, the feel of a neighborhood bar/lounge, attending an elegant reception or exciting party in the banquet space, or through experiencing an eclectic mix of music in our world-class music venue, seating nearly 200. History Established in 2015. Copious is a multi-faceted facility with a restaurant, live music venue and event space that opened in September of 2015. The concept was created by Terry Turner, Bill Clark, Bob Breithaupt and Michael Melching once they discovered the McGowan Building located in the Brewery District. They let the building speak to them with what could be developed in its space. What has been created is an unique experience that offers something for Columbus that is traditionally found in major cities like New York or Chicago.
