I cant believe no one complained about no air conditioning! ! I come from cleveland ohio to visit my grandson at osu and the last 4 time no air except fans..why is this?? You shouldnt even be open eith no air on the hottest summer of all!!!! I could not enjoy my food so had to take it home. Bsrley ate any buffet either..why didnt you post a sign outside that says no air??? So disappointed. Cause i live ponderosa and we dont have any in cleveland.. Thats alot of money that was spent to be dissapointed 4 timed now the waitresses were so very nice and i feel sorry for them to be working in deplorable conditions!!!!
Love to eat here. Their fried fish, meat loaf, veggies as well as their many desserts (fudge as good as my mother’s) keep me coming back. Food has been consistently good and seems to be made from country recipes. Staff is always kind and fast to refill my glass or get me a coffee. Only thing that could make this place better would be if they’d sell a yearly dining pass.
Ponderous is a steak chain buffet style restaurant. I had the t-bone dinner with steak fries and buffet. The meal both looked and tasted quite good. Despite the late hour, I walked in at 845 pm, All of the field on the buffet looked fresh. The t-bone was mildly spiced and perfectly prepared. I was quite surprised at the quality of all the food, and my drink stayed topped the entire time. All in all this was a quality dining experience. Possibly my best dining out over the past year. Please note: This restaurant is also great for family and group get togethers.
