Great food at reasonable prices. The menu is well thought through but is limited in scope. Despite this, it’s worth going to again and again.13 Apr, 2011Best Chinese food in the area. Sure, you can find better in NY or San Francisco, and similar in Boston. But for Cleveland Hunan on Coventry is it.
The rumors can be put to rest. Hunan is not shutting its doors but going forth with their business stronger than ever. After 40 years in the restaurant business Mr TC and his wife retired at the end of July 2012 leaving it for the cooks to keep the doors open. Their new website is http://www.TheHunanCoventry.com with pictures and menus.
Generic Chinese food. I hate to be so forward but I went based on the reviews on this page. In the end, I thought this was generic Chinese take out. We had prompt service and it wasn’t too pricey…but nothing amazing.
I loved it, unfortunately when you dine in you can only purchase large sizes. The staff was very friendly and it was a great environment, though I will probably only do carry out from now on.
Very good food. I like the atmosphere that surrounds you while you dine. Decently priced, but find it interesting they have their own brand of soft drinks.
Great Chinese. Great food, the only down fall is that they don’t deliver. Hunan Coventry is good for a day when you can get out of the office to pick up your food. Their Spring Rolls are great as are the crab ragoon (best I’ve ever had).The Noodles Sesame Paste (it’s vegetarian) is great I really would rather take to time to pick up my food then get delivery.
Best Chinese. Hunan Coventry is by far the best chinese food I have ever experienced. Be sure to try the Orange Beef, the sauce is incredible.
