Fantastic authentic artisan breads. That on ole would be worth the 45 min drive for me, but no I come for the sandwiches. Amazing! Really unique creations like the pork Bahn Mi – out of this world.
Great bread and pastries. Problem is they NEVER bake enough. Show up after 10 am and they are out of everything. Also need to buy a bread slicer.
Good bread but there never is any. I like going to On the Rise. Their bread is excellent. I enjoy getting the scala when I come here. The only issue when I go there, a lot of times they don’t have any bread. I’ve never heard of a bread place that doesn’t have any bread. Good bread, they just to make more of it.
Love This Bread!. They make some amazing bread here. Grab some delicious, crusty, fresh bread and a (not-so-crescent-shaped) jam-filled croissant for the ride home!
11%???. As of the writing of this review, it says that 89% of the voters like this place. 11% don’t?!?! Are they nuts? How could you not like a place that makes amazing artisinal breads? Where they always have lots of free samples to whet your appetite.Simply the best breads and pastries I’ve found in Cleveland. Reminds me of good bread in Paris. The coffee is pretty good as well and if you sit around the big table there is almost always interesting conversation to be had.
France … in your mouth. The selection isn’t huge, and their hours are weird, but the baguettes and other breads remind me more of Paris than any boulangerie I’ve visited in Northeast Ohio, or maybe anywhere in the United States. The sweets are pretty great too, but definitely don’t miss the traditional French bread.
Breads shine here.. Cinnamon raisin bread at on the rise could be the best without baking it myself as is their Challah. Pastries are tasty too at this neighborhood bakery that stands out because of the quality artisan breads and friendly atmosphere.
