Uh this is food? Worst food I have had in a very long time. It was only topped off by even worse service!

Not what it used to be!. Papa joes used to have wonderful food. I was very disappointed after my May 2013 visit. Sadly, the best thing I ate was the free bread and butter. The zucc. app. Was overcooked, very mushy! The chicken parm was terribly watery and burnt on edges. The veal pram. was dry. The glasses had lipstick marks and unidentifiable spots. Despite reserving a booth, we were sat in a corner, directly under the A.C. vent. Waitresses spent considerably more time with elderly patrons. The waitress, Tammy/tamer if you are elderly, seemed unphased that our food was almost untouched, must be pretty common. It was sad! I want to support local business.

Went there tonight with my fiance. Got seated immediately on the bar area at a tall table. Took 20 minutes to get our drinks. Soup and salad came at the same time. Another 25 minutes into dinner service and the main course arrives with empty soup and salad plates still stacked up on our table. Had to ask for them to be removed. Never once during dinne service were we asked if we wanted another drink, nor we’re our water glasses refilled. $68.91 bill, left 10% only tip. Will never return. Food wasn’t much better than the Olive Garden either.

Great place. We eat here at least once a month. Never had a bad meal. Servers are professional and personable.

Mother’s Day Fail. Despite being a life-long resident of Cuyahoga Falls, I’ve only frequented this restaurant a handful of times. I’ve found the menu items to be too pricey for what they actually delivered. This time, after taking our family of 7 for dinner on Mother’s Day, I’m permanently crossing them off the list.Perhaps they should stick to what they know, as the special Mother’s Day menu offered decidedly bland fare at jacked up prices. The butter that came with the bread was still chilled and not spreadable. The salads were very skimpy and dressings were flavoreless. All of the entrees that we ordered were just blah. My ham entree, which was described as slow-cooked maple sugar ham, came out dry and covered in canned fruit salad (even had the familiar pink cherries) diluted in syrup. Canned fruit salad…I kid you not. For an $19 price tag, I was offended. The $20 steak that my husband ordered medium well was dry and chewy with no flavor. My in-laws’ turkey dinners were bland, and at almost $20 a plate, a big letdown. The eggplant parmesan that two other members ordered comprised of thick pieces of eggplant that were neither tender nor flavorful. One of the guests, who rarely complains about her food, requested red pepper flakes and poured on more parmesan cheese just to make the dish palatable. Her mother, who ordered the chicken parm, ate less than half of her dish and declined a box to take home the rest.I realize that mother’s day is a big cash flow day for restaurants like this, but it is unconscionable that they should offer poorly-prepared, Bob Evans-standard, bland dishes and slap them with an average of $20, just because it’s Mother’s Day. NE Ohio is coming to the national forefront in terms of good cuisine, with respectable chefs preparing great food at the same price (or lower) than what we paid for at Papa Joe’s: Palate, Lola, Momocho, Crave, Bricco, La Strada/La Dolce Vita, etc.Papa Joe’s needs to do better to compete and not insult the taste and sensibilities of their diners. We felt that Papa Joe’s totally took advantage of their loyal customer base.
