Good food, service and prices. Tried the Planet Sub and really enjoyed it. One of the reviews below said the experience sub is their signature one but I’d guess their namesake sub it. I went with it and it was great. I didn’t feel the bread was over powering. The sub wasn’t put together in a mess. Sure there was some extra lettuce falling out in the foil wrap but no big deal. I also got the dill pickle on the side which was good too. Perhaps I had a good experience because I didn’t go at a lunch or dinner rush. But I’ll be back to try some more subs!
And that is not meant as a compliment03 Apr, 2015I love all things sub, but this is the 1 sub place I will never go again. My main complaint is there bread, it stinks, when you bite into your sandwich all you can taste is bread with a little bit of the meat, the bread is over powering and is not even good. This place makes subway look good.
Give them time. My first time trying Planet Sub was disappointing. I was hopeful, since the place just opened, that they would be trying their best to impress new customers. The staff wasn’t friendly or helpful in answering questions about the menu. I got their signature sub called The Experience. It was so poorly slopped together, half of the chicken was in the foil instead of on the bread. The chicken was over-seasoned to cover up how dry it was. The bread was too limp to support the sandwich and it was crumbling. It was hard to eat with my hands, which is the purpose of a sub. I’d rather go to Quiznos or Penn Station to get an easy to eat sub with good bread. I’ll give them a few months to get their act together and try again.
