Great Food. This was our first time to The Amber Rose, we were impressed! We had the sauerkraut balls as an appetizer, they were cooked perfectly and the combination of the horseradish sauce and the spicy mustard was very good. I had the hunger schnitzels and my husband had the jager schnitzels both were really good and well cooked. We will definitely be back! The place definitely beats chain restaurants.
Processed cafeteria like sides l. Canned green beans and instant potatoes gag will not come here again
While the interior might seem outdated with the plastic table covers and the impressed tin ceiling, the food is stunning and the staff are exceptional. While it may be a touch greasy the food transports the eater to the east. Amazing food, amazing staff! Will come back I’f ever in Dayton.
Bravo!. What a wonderful experience! My organization made a smart decision to hold our meeting in the private room at the Amber Rose. From the beginning the catering manager was easy to work with and accommodating to our needs. On the night of the event we were provided with a gorgeous room, a fantastic staff and fabulous food. I highly recommend the Amber Rose for your next event!

Nice ambiance with somewhat bland food. 3.5 Stars – The ambiance was nice. Nice interior, comfortable seating, good place for a date. The bar side of the restaurant was lively, but not inappropriate. Our waitress was wonderful, fun and lively, and probably earned the extra half star for the restaurant. The apple and pear stuffed chicken was lovely, however the accompanying green beans were just lackluster, a tad rubbery and no noticeable seasoning. I am not a connoisseur of Eastern European food… so not really sure how the spaetzle was supposed to be served (cold/warm/hot). It arrived with some of it cold, and some lukewarm, and was not much on flavor. Didn’t like it. The perogie appetizer was reported to be a solid offering. The cabbage roll and sausage were reported to be bland. All in all we concluded that we would not make a point to come back, unless someone really wanted Eastern Euro food, but if they did, we would return.
