Bad Experience. Bad food coupled with bad service. They couldn’t find the LSU/Alabama game. No Ketchup. Wrong fries. Probably the worst turkey hot shot ever served. One piece of toast, mashed potatoes and nothing but turkey scraps. Green beans were good. The booth was falling apart and we spent the evening rocking back and forth because Shamu and her three sisters were seated behind us. A space heater was aimed right at our table, a few feet away. The old firemen better get back in there to run the place or it won’t be open much longer.

Went to Angie’s on a whim tonight. Had the greatest experience of my life. Bartender greeted me with a smile, handshake, and remembered my name the entire evening. Had a great club sandwich, and took a cabbage roll to go. The good was great. Service amazing. My wife and I will be back for sure. What a gem in the heart of Dayton.

GOOD FOOD, SLOW KITCHEN! We went for dinner on a Thursday night and waited nearly an hour for our meals. The kitchen was busy taking care of to go orders. No complaints about the food, but only go if you are not in a hurry.

Newest Hot-Spot for Food:. I was alarmed to learn a new eatery was located so close to my residence. A few weeks ago I had decided to walk there with my girlfriend and check it out. For those who go beyond the food you’ll be happy to know that the service was pleasant and informative (they are still a little new and are getting draft and more beer selections in a couple weeks). Also Angie’s has an aesthetic that is comfortable and charming.Anyway, the food has been so good that I’ve already been three times. I don’t often eat hamburgers these days but I had to try the 5-Alarm Burger… which was delicious and melted my face off (figuratively speaking). My girlfriend had gotten chicken fingers and they weren’t just frozen from a bag but homemade. Every time I’ve eaten here it has just gotten better and has always been worth the trip. It’s exciting to think that this place has the potential to expand the food selection from what is already there.Seriously, Go eat/drink here.
