I must say that I was a little disappointed today with my Pad Thai from Baan. I went to the second street market in search of the infamous Cheeky Meat Pies and stumbled upon a variety of places to eat. I tried the Pad Thai from this restaurant. The rice was cooked well, not as fluffy as I would have liked. The rice noodles seemed a bit over cooked. The chicken was cooked very well, it was tender and juicy. I received a skewer of some sort of chicken curry which was seasoned well and actually was juicy. The star of the show however, were these little vegetable spring rolls. The wrap was crispy and tender on the inside. The cabbage and carrots were well cooked. I was impressed by certain things. Overall, I just wasnt impressed with this authentic version of Pad Thai. I would go back to Noodles in a heartbeat.
