Excellent. Had tried their bourbon chicken sandwich at a festival booth last year, and finally made it downtown to try it again. Just as good as I remembered. Got the bourbon chicken & cajun spuds and a side of cornbread. Spuds were very tasty, as was the chicken again. Cornbread wasn’t much on it’s own, not bad, just nothing special, but it was great to soak up the extra bourbon sauce, so I’d get it again. The place was pretty packed but they served our food relatively quickly while jugging lots of to go orders. Very friendly staff. The place itself isn’t anything fancy, just a somewhat run down cafe kind of thing with very simple chairs and tables and an open kitchen.We’ll definitely be back!

The atmosphere very relaxed-we did not feel we had to rush out once we completed our meal. We had large portions served to us and a good deal for our price-however, the food was so good I was ready to order again but was too stuffed. We will be back very soon and bringing more friends with us…I strongly recommend this place especially prior to a UD basketball game.UD women’s basketball loyal fans 🙂
Bang for your buck!. I just started coming to this place maybe a month ago and I come here at least twice a week. The price for what you get is just outstanding. I usually get bourbon chicken with pinto beans and spicy rice but today I ventured out and tried the bourbon cheese steak with Cajun potatoes just fabulous. I encourage everybody to try this place great staff great atmosphere and Terrific food. A+++ in my book. #proudcustomer
Meh. The food is really good, I can’t deny that. But if you’ve ever been to the mall and had bourbon chicken then you’ve basically had this at a cheaper price. With that said it’s very tasty and if I had never tasted mall bourbon chicken I would rave about this place. Sadly I have had mall bourbon chicken, and I can’t justify the price here.
Bourbon chicken. Tried some bourbon chicken from a stand this place had at a festival in Dayton… sooo good!! Can’t speak for the restaurant environment or service, but that chicken was awesome!
