Dublin Pub has the best Bloody Mary’s I have ever had the pleasure to taste! Other than my husband’s of course! Also they’re pub fries, patty melts & they’re Reuben sandwich are so far the best I’ve had.
Happy dance Happy dance! The food here was so delicious the chef in me would not be outdone. I went home and made the exact same thing literally for my kids. I enjoyed a seat at the bar today. The service was quick and friendly. I settled on the long island with the Beef Boxter. It was stewed beef chunks with large chunked veggies like carrots, onions, celery, all on top of a tender potato cake. The Potato cake issue that I had was that the potatos were slightly large, matching the cuts of the other veggies. There was also cabbage present. I savored the taste of the tender falling apart stew meat in the beef gravy. When I got home I stewed beef in beef broth and garlic and came up with similar results. I added cheddar cheese on top of the hash browns and beef, at Dublin pub im not sure what kind of cheese but there was some cheese and basil present (or thyme). This was the most absolutely delicious meal and as my children clean the dishes I am writing about how amazing the food was at Dublin Pub. I will be back to try the sheppards pie as well as the cinnamon ice cream. Anytime I want to eat food and do a happy dance I will come to this place. Thank you Dublin Pub Hail Ireland!
Great day to be out and about, we have been here many time with great results, the bad thing is we nave never ordered anything other than fish and chips which are some of the best in town, I always have a black & Tans with my meal.Recommend.
Was at the pub on new years and had an awesome buffet. Food was great. Best wings i ever had. The beer selection is pretty good there now and had a couple of great beers. Then i ordered a shot of jameson and it was more lime a teaspoon. My wife said a barbie doll wouldnt get drunk on that. The waiter said they have a measuring system now. I think they have gotten cheap on liquor there. Great place grat atmosphere but dont go for shots or u will b disappointed.
They charge $5 to eat!! Don’t bother!!!Food isn’t even good!! Then the door man comes over and is rude because we didn’t pay cover charge to eat!! Ruined our whole night!!!!
Good Food but Slow Service. I have been going to the Dublin Pub for years now and each time is different. This past time I went on a Friday afternoon around 2. When we walked in there was nobody in the actual restaurant and about 6 people out on the patio which is where we sat since it was so nice outside. It took about 10 minutes before anybody even acknowledged that we were there and then about another 15 minutes before we got our drinks and placed our order. It took about another 25 minutes to get our food which I can tell you was not complicated. For the lack of customers and all the extra staff that was there this seemed crazy to me. I kept thinking what the heck is going on in there….there was no reason for the wait and nobody seemed apologetic. When the food did arrive it was okay nothing to write home about. I had the irish cheesesteak and the pub cheese fries. The cheesesteak was soggy and just full of giant chunks of steak. I wish it had been a little bit more shredded. The fries were the best thing of the whole visit but it would take an idiot to mess up cheese fries. I’m sure I’ll be back since I love going there for a few drinks but I will try not to be to hopeful that I will have good service.
Too big for their britches.. Well, we just left DP after waiting an HOUR and food still never showed up, had to leave as already way past my lunch hour. After 3 other couples were seated after us and got service, we literally had to go find someone just to get menus. 3 more couples arrived thereafter, and although the waitress was apologetic on the delay in the kitchen, all six who arrived after us received their food and some even finished, and we still had nothing. When you only have an hour for lunch this is a problem. DP food is nothing great never has been, hey it’s Pub food, I get that. But it was least close for a quick lunch to meet my wife, convenient. Now it’s not even that. Wife called and they are sending a gift certificate which is nice, but kind of missing the point that if you can’t in and out in an hour, really doesn’t matter does it?Now, you are expanding!? You may want to rethink or at least think this expansion through.
