Spent the weekend in Dayton and came across this place. Only bad thing was bartenders bad attitude. I like to eat on the veggie side. Buffalo cauliflower bites were awesome. Light and crisp batter and cauliflower was cooked perfectly. Veggie burger with gluten free bun was exceptional. Burger was kidney and black bean and rice. It was spiced perfectly and thin with pepper jack cheese, guacamole and jalapeo. Perfect for me. Gluten free bun was more like a biscuit but delicious. It was moist and flavored with herbs. I got green beans as a side. They were freshly sauted with just the right amount of fresh garlic. Yummy. Definitely worth a try.
BRUNCH!!!!!! One of my favorite Sunday hangover remedies! Chicken & waffles, or the chorizo tacos. Always so good, and the bartenders/servers are typically very fast.
My boyfriend and I were looking for somewhere to eat on a long drive from Detroit to Cincinnati and decided to look in Dayton area around 10:15 pm on a Sunday. This place blew our minds- great service, AMAZING food, great relaxed atmosphere, and not so loud that we couldn’t talk! I ordered The Goat with red slaw (medium rare) and to my surprise (let’s be real, most of the time there is no way you’re getting a med rare burger) it came out perfectly cooked and makes the top 5 burgers I’ve ever had (I’m a foodie, this is a big deal!). My boyfriend got the sweet potato fries and we still can’t stop talking about them. Can’t say enough about how wonderful this place was- going back asap!
I love a place that has a great assortment of craft beers and a fun menu that anyone in my group can find something to enjoy. Dishes for both meat eaters and vegetarians make this a place all my friends can agree upon. The beer menu is constantly changing and seasonal brews are a must. With a beer sampler and great food and ale matching Lucky’s a great place for lunch or dinner that can easily turn into an evening of drinks with friends.
Small, local business with amazing food. Their brunch of the weekends is definitely my favorite…anything with the bacon jam is a great choice! Their menu during the week is just a delicious, I always go for the pear grilled cheese and add bacon. Their beer selection is constantly rotating, but the bartender/server is always ready with recommendations. We take all of our out of town guests here, love it!
Ale Chips. SO GOOD. Thinly sliced potatoes, soaked in an IPA overnight, served with chipotle mayo.
Neat local place with local brews on tap. The food was just okay. But the chocolate bacon cake was pretty good.
