I have heard great reviews of this restaurant but I had to experience it for myself. I walked in and was a tad bit nervous seeing the wood tables with the paper towel rolls glued to the middle of each table, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. These guys know their way around a smoker. The ribs had a nice smoke ring, were tender, and very juicy. The BBQ sauce was sweet with a vinegar base to it and it was very tangy. The Macaroni was cheesy and thick, just like I love it. The collards were delicious. The chicken was the star of the show. You could tell that the chicken had been slow roasted. It was smoky, falling off the bones, and paired well with the BBQ sauce. I must say that I never expected that kind of southern BBQ taste from any joint in Dayton. The service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious. We got a full meal to feed 7 for 32$. I would recommend this place to anyone in search of real BBQ done right!
