Visited for the first time. Probably the best onion chip dip Ive had. Homemade. Decent draft beer selection and their craft bottle selection is one of the best Ive seen in this area. Burgers are great. I had the chili which was decent. This is near the UD campus. I would definitely recommend
Great place. Quite cozy has there’s not a lot of room. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were incredibly huge! The service was wonderful and the food came out hot. I was here at lunch, and did have to wait about 10 minutes to be seated.

Tanks is an absolute hole in the wall dive bar, but God is it good. I definitely recommend breakfast, no matter the time of day. Biscuits & gravy is a big winner!
They have really solid wings, a great staff, a really good menu, and booze. Basically all the things you want in a good restaurant are here at Tanks. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food I received. From the outside and even the inside, it looks like they serve food just to soak up the booze they’re serving. That is definitely not the case. On my visit, there was a slight problem with the menu. They were in the process of rewriting or something and I saw a big ole plate of onion rings come out of the kitchen that I was unaware of them having. I was instantly jealous of the person that ordered them, but I was already paying for my check. Once that is all cleared up, which it probably is by now, it was great.
I love it here! The food is great, the portions are big and there are a variety of beers to choose from. Some of my friends have complained about the service, but I have never had any issues.
Horrible experience.. I was be super looking forward to tanks. I love their food and typically their service. We got in and it was busy as always but I have been there when it was busier, and had no issues. We ordered. We waited almost 45 minutes for food. Before we walked out. The waitress never checked on us. There was food ready to go out and NO one was running it out. Our waitress was too occupied making drinks behind the bar.and other people that got there 20 minutes after us was getting their food. She probably didn’t even noticed that we left. But 45 minutes and still counting waiting for food is absolutely insane.super disappointed. Will be looking for a new breakfast spot.
