the staff at the restaurant are very friendly and helpful. the food was pretty good. but the biggest problem was that the restaurant wasn’t very busy and it took us an hour to get our food. even our server mentioned how bad it was and said that they were working with some new kitchen staff. anyway, lots of choices for pizza and we tried a few which were good. we also had an Italian sub and a pasta dish at the table. the kids had a meatball appetizer. their meatballs were very good as was the sub. the pasta dish was just okay. we will probably give amato’s another try, but we won’t be rushing back.
