we had high hopes for this place but were highly disappointed. the staff were nice but the restaurant itself is outdated and gross. I can’t quite figure out the smell of that place. anyway, we got our food to go. we had egg rolls, Szechuan chicken, hunan chicken and genera tso’s chicken. only the hunan was edible. if we had eaten in the restaurant, I would have sent the general tso’s back. and I never send food back. it was horrible. the sauce, the chicken, everything. the egg rolls were ok but had a fishy taste to them. I thought this could be a new carry out spot for us but I was wrong. the search continues…
Love this place!!!!!. We absolutely love this place! We get their take out all the time- my husband LOVES their spicy dishes because they actually put in whole hot peppers 🙂 I love their Sweet & Sur Chicken (which is a common Chinese Restaurant order) but unlike most places Cantons Chicken taste fresh – not the pre-breaded then frozen chicken that you find at so many places.
Original and Great. I never thought I liked Chinese food until I went there with a friend and ordered Canton’s. It was very good! Now that I like Chinese, I went to other places thinking I was going to get what I got at Canton. NOPE, Canton’s food is original. No other places have come close to having food as good as Canton. Too bad there’s only one. And service is ALWAYS good, polite and efficient. Good Job Canton in Delaware!
The Best In Town. Consistently good Chinese food for the 6 years I’ve lived in Delaware. We probably eat there twice a month. I’ve tried the others and they just don’t beat Canton.
Worst food ever!. My wife and I had the general tso chicken, the sauce tasted like straight soy sauce. The rice was not fully cooked. I could not eat one than bite. The water glass was dirty. The manager told us no one else complained, so he would not take it off our bill. I will never go back.
