Food is ok although expensive but WOW is it a dirty mess! There was sauce on the counters, dried food in the silverware holders, the floor hadn’t been swept for hours and there was a giant sticky puddle of who-knows-what by the soda machine. Had my kids not been starving I would have walked out. Ewwww….
Waste of time and money. They had 3 employees for lunch…and that’s with working a drive thru too. It took forever to put in our orders and all of the food was subpar. Potato salad had a TON of dill (and my husband and I both really like dill) which overpowered everything. Nothing is set up properly for the employees to work efficiently. This is fast food barbecue without the fast and a side of blah. We won’t be back.
Best beef brisket by far, Ribs are really, good. I like the green beans and fries. There’s plenty to choose from plus free ice cream. Eat there for lunch usually better then night staff and more available.
Worst I’ve ever had and especially for the price!
Not impressed!!!. Employees were friendly but that is about it. Service was ultra slow took over 30 minutes for them to take my order and bag it. Food was as bad as the service. Pork and beef had no smoke flavor or smoke ring visible. Turkey had some smoke flavor but I am sure it was flavored as it was thick sliced pressed lunchmeat not real turkey breast. Coleslaw tasted like water. Sauces and Green beans and potato casserole were decent. We usually go to City BBQ and it is much better although more expensive than Dickeys.
The food is great location is great. One problem first time I went there after reopening it was 15 minutes before close and on my way to the door with my wife and newborn the manager locked up and closed the sign how rude. Went to chipotle and ate
Leftovers from the real BBQ joints.. My family and I tried to eat there on three occasions at different times of the day. On the first visit they were out of ribs. This enticed me, I thought the food was so good they sell out early, I was wrong. They forgot to pack any sauce, the meat portion of the pork bowl was dried up, but at least the 40% fat content added moisture. The brisket was ok. The sides were tiny so with the four of us fighting over the brisket we ordered a pizza. The second stop yielded the same result. The third time we went we got there early in the day, again no ribs. The pop my wife got was flat, and the fat content of the pork slop went up to 60%. My 8 year old cried. This is a wretched place.
