Found groupon for catering for $100, paid $77. Ordered over phone with no catering menu available. Told total would be $135 until found out I had groupon then charged $73 in addition to groupon totaling $150. Owner charging customer $15 penalty for having groupon knowing with no coupon would cost less. Don’t agree with business practices or customer service. If your looking at catering beware of pricing.
Terrible. Reminded me of Army chow hall food. Neither my mom nor I liked it; I took my leftovers home and eventually threw them out. This is so uncharacteristic of me that I’m still upset about it! Maybe we got the wrong things. I will say this: there’s good quality rice and there’s cheap rice. This place uses, I think, probably the cheapest rice available. Mealy, fat, and tasteless. Unless something changes, I won’t be going back.
Always great food, always great environment! I love how J Gumbos is very concerned about the community and helps out in any way they can. Many fundraisers for different events and causes are hosted at the restaurant. Great portion size, great variety, and a clean location to enjoy it in! I love me some J Gumbos! My fraternity uses J Gumbos twice a year to cater an event for us, and we are always pleased with the service, price, and of course the amazing food! Gluten free and vegetarian options are also a great selling point!
When is it actually opened. I have tried to eat at this restaurant twice in the last two weeks. once on a Saturday and again today on a Monday, birth time it was closed. if you have summer hours update your website to same us all a trip. anyone wanting to eat here should probably call and make sure they decided to open that day if it is convenient for them to do so
User reviews. Incredible food… try the 2 hot dishes and you won’t be disappointed. The staff are very pleasant as well! Highly recommend.
Great authentic Cajun dishes. Try voodoo chicken and crawfish touffe.
