Liar. Owner stated a 10 minute wait or free margaritas and 25 minutes later…not free. Drink doesn’t bother me but pathetic to see him peeking around the corner while a waiter told me. Food was okay, service was great, host/owner lost a customer by hiding and lacking courage or class.
Went there over the weekend. Got the veggie quesadilla. It was bathed in oil, just dripping. The waiter finally came over and asked about it and offered to make another. I declined because it would have taken too long and I assumed it all comes from the same pot. So we asked to just take it off the bill. We were told we could take this mini Exxon Valdez home, but they never take things off the bill. We go out to eat a lot, this was our first and last time there.
Apparently we were there on a bad day. Took forever to get service as there were only two server ( bartender said it was due to vacations) we waited at least twenty minutes for our bill and finally walked out front and told bartender we wanted to pay and leave. I requested a quesadilla with beans and cheese. No cheese to be found and it was full of runny retried beans. I will stay with vaqueros
Can’t Go Wrong. Pedro & Maria are very gracious Hosts. The food: WONDERFUL. We stumbled onto Mi Cerrito this spring and have been back many times since (really!!) Pedro’s hospitality is second to none and we have had a variety of dishes with nothing but rave reviews – AUTHENTIC! Be sure to ask for the GUACAMOLE that is made at your table (be sure to request your favorite ingredients for the Guac). Definitely try the Chile Relleno.
Better than Vaqueros. If you like mexican food, you have to give Mi Cerritos a try. They are located across from the Strand off Winter St in Downtown Delaware. I haven’t found anything I don’t like. My favorites are the fajitas and enchiladas rancheras. A great price for such high quality food!P.S. the margaritas aren’t bad either. The staff is great, friendly and very welcoming.
The Best Mexican Food in Delaware. Always friendly staff, with hearty, full portioned meals. A variety of dishes with a full range of spices. My wife loves the margaritas. We make sure to visit at least twice a month.
Staff very friendly. Quick service, compatible prices and tasty cheese dip! Ill be back for sure!
