I am not a foody, can’t eat spicy food and my companion does not eat onions. Neither of us drink alcohol. So why did we go, because we had never been before and we love 1808 and Mi Cerritas which are next door. We were surprised at how small the menu is, there were a few appetizers , entrees and desserts. We decided to try the brussel sprouts and smoked gouda pasta. The plates are huge, the portions are tiny and the price is high. The brussel sprouts which the waiter assured us were not spicy but had spices and were vacuum sealed. They had the texture of frozen brussel sprouts and tasted like they were in a molasses cookie sauce. The smoked gouda pasta (about 1/2 cup) was very strong flavor and had about 2 cherry tomatoes on them with lots of shallots. Needless to say my friend did not touch it and I could barely eat two bites of the very smokey pasta. We did order the banana/rum dessert. It was about a 1 inch square of fried banana pudding with ice cream and rum sauce. It was delicious but was so small we each barely got a taste. We ended up going out for ice cream after our $40 dinner as we left most of the food on our plates. If you are not a food adventurer or are expecting to eat enough to feel like you ate I would skip this restaurant.
Veritas Delaware experience. Just a wonderful experience- much more than just an excellent meal . I suggest the full course meal with the wine pairings. Not too much food or wine- just the right amount . It is now my favorite restaurant in the central Ohio areai
Really good. We had a great experience tonight. Excellent cuisine, wine choices were really good. We haven’t had food this good since we were in Chicago. The feta dip was our favorite. And the desert was really good.
Everything was unique and amazing…Bacon Risotto…WOW!
Great concept very relaxing environment great cocktails & food is full of flavor not to much not to little great for sharing meals they are small plates but worth it very friendly staff and ownership
Diner from Powell. We had a very good experience. It was our 1st time there and getting to understand the menu and what things you like is not easy the first time. Enjoyed the oysters very much as well as the wings. Bacon risotto was also very good. Need to visit several times to try all of the menu.
Lovely spot. Ever changing menu, great cocktail menu and good service. Not a 10 buck burger Tavern by any means. They serve only small plates at a worthwhile premium price. I had pork cheek as 1 plate and salmon for another. Both were exquisitely prepared and worth ever penny.
