This is my new favorite restaurant! My friend and I met Mr. Vittorio who was very warm and welcoming. At this great place there is no need to wait on service they come back frequently. The food was delicious. The limonchilli was amazing after dinner drink. I I understand why it is a family secret. The price point and portion size are perfect. I surprised at all the food I received for $29.00. The Bellini…delicious drink. The atmosphere, the service , the decor all 5 star. This is like the best kept secret in the city. This is my new place to visit on a weekly basis. I would recommend everyone to come visit and give Vittoria a try.
Vittoria. Good Food. Good Atmosphere. Our waiter was very pleasant and easygoing, and very easy to talk with. He (Rex?) made it a nice dining experience.
Ups and Downs of Vittoria. We began patronizing Vittoria shorly after it opened. For about two years it was wonderful. Then the service and food quality began to slip. We stopped visiting for about 2 years after a very disappointing evening (reservations turned out not to be reservations). We decided to try again earlier this year and have not been disappointed since. The new Manager/Operating Partner Vittorio has made all the difference. I remember him from Eddie Merlot’s and was pleasantly surprised to find him operating Vittoria and turning it around. We are regular visitors for dine-in and take-away once again.
Very good service, nice atmosphere. For no reason at all (we live nearby), we hadn’t been to Vittoria’s in a couple years and went last night for our anniversary. We didn’t announce anything and were quietly flying under the radar. From the moment we walked in, it’s as if the staff was having the best day ever and wanted us to have a great day along with them. We were greeted warmly, and the three different waiters who came to our table were just so warm and friendly. Service was outstanding. And the food was very good. We started with salads and then my wife had cannelloni while I had veal piccata. She was very pleased that it came out piping hot and tasty, and I’d mentioned that if they accidentally put a couple extra capers on, I wouldn’t mind – so mine came out with a little extra capers – yum! We were busy yesterday and honestly it was a last minute game-time decision to go there and I was so pleased that we did. We really should go more often.
First visit. Went to Easter Brunch. Food was very good. Really liked the lasagna. The dessert were delicious, cannolis were very fresh. Vittorio came toOur table several times. Will go back.
My birthday dinner was ruined. My family and friends made a reservation to go here for my birthday more than a week in advance. My wife called them on the phone to make sure they knew it was my birthday and that we got a special table. When we got there a few minutes early (and the place was almost completely empty with MANY open tables, they said that our reservation was deleted online. First of all my wife CALLED on the phone, talked to a real person, and never made an online reservation. Then they said it was for just 2… which it wasn’t. Then they said it was for the wrong time… but all had been cancelled. They said they would see what they could do. 45 minutes later they had still done nothing. After inquiring on what we should do, and explaining to them that we’d been waiting more than 45 minutes, still weren’t seated, even though there were open tables, one of assistant managers offered to let us sit by the front door at a bar table. When we went over there to look at it, other people were sitting there. Need less to say we never did get steed and went over to Bravo instead, where they seated us right away. I’ve never had a chance to eat here, and you can bet I hope that none of you choose to eat here either. I’m 41 and have never received worse service at any restaurant in my life. There is a reason why this restaurant is in a strip mall, and the service here will ensure that it doesn’t make it. La Scala and Bravo are a few places nearby that have better service. I have a lot more to say about this place, but my review is a lot nicer than the service we received on my birthday.
