Cold Service and Cold Food. We visited this restaurant at the suggestion oif our hotel. What a mistake. Our greeting upon arrival was super cool. We were hustled to a very small table by a muscular young man more interested in the young ladies than providing service. The rudeness and unprofessional attitude of the waiter were surprising to say the least. He demanded that we order drinks and food without reviewing the menus for either. We ordered as quickly as we could. However, he took his sweet time getting back to our table. When our food finally arrived, both orders were stone cold. However, the waiter was not to bee seen again for another 15 minutes. Since we had just completed an eight hour drive, we were very hungry and tired. We hardly had the time nor patience to mess with a rude and unprofessional part of the hired help. Apparently, this is a restaurant that does not want out of town customers and caters to a local crowd. This was a very expensive and disappointing experience. Out of town folks-BEWARE!

Review 6/14/14. 4 out of 6 people in our group were happy with their meals. The two that weren’t had the chicken avocado flat bread. It was very bland tasting similar to a frozen meal. Service was good but I would not go back.

Good food & service. Been there for lunches and dinner. A little pricier than other bar/pubs but well worth it. Will even provide some samples of some selections. Attentive staff

YES!!!!! in Dublin, Ohio. Matt The Miller’s Tavern is everything I hoped it would be. First of all you walk into an interior Frank Lloyd Wright and Piet Mondrian would approve of. We were seated by the lovely hostess. Then Brian came to give us menus and ask what we would like to drink. (All of the servers are attractive and friendly.) We placed our order. I had the pear and gorgonzola flat bread with Matt’s salad: a winning combination of mixed greens with maple mustard vinaigrette, white cheddar, spiced walnuts and dried apricots. My lunch was simply perfect. My husband had Matt’s salad and half a turkey club. The sandwich was a thing of beauty. There are so many things on their menu that I need to try. I hope to be there most Wednesdays. When we left at 12:15 the restaurant was very busy. So, for delicious food in beautiful surroundings, go to Matt the Miller’s. Perhaps, you will have Brian, the perfect server!

Sweet potato fries….. Enough said! They were amazing! Waitress was great and everyone left fullfilled and happy. Can’t wait to bring more people back with me next time.

Shrimp and grits…yum!. We have eaten here many times, and have never had a bad meal. My husband loves the craft beer selection,. My absolute favorite is the Shrimp and Grits on the appetizer menu, which is so large that I have it for a meal. It is every bit as good as anything I have had in South Carolina!

We enjoyed it. I first visited Matt’s with my brother-in-law last fall and we thought everything was good. My wife and I visited today (St Pat’s Day) and not only was our food excellent, our wait guy provided great service. My wife enjoyed it so much she wants to bring our daughters when they come visit us next time . It’s an hour from where we live, but it was well worth the drive.
