Went here for my birthday. My fianc called ahead and made reservations and they definitely went out of the way to make it a special night. The steak and wine was amazing. Will definitely go back.
Got a great seat on the patio. Ordered the mussel appetizer, they were small but the broth was great for dipping bread! Lobster bisque was bland, which was surprising considering all the good reviews. Ordered the shrimp and sausage pasta in the spicy Parmesan cream sauce, not my favorite. My fianc got the filet (Which was cooked correctly) and a side of mashed potatoes (which were amazing). Waiter was nice, but not too busy to be attentive (not his fault really). All-in-all, I didn’t love or hate this place. Probably will not frequent again.
The patio is full, the music is excellent, staff are busy but attentive. The mussels and cocktails are excellent – main course yet to come.
Tucci is a great spot, especially in the summer time on the patio. Good live music. I had the short ribs and they were some of the best I have had. Very enjoyable, I will return.
Disappointed. We have come to expect a quite high caliber of food from Tucci’s but were disappointed today by the Italian sausage & linguine dish we had for lunch. The linguine pasta was overcooked and soggy and the quantity of sausage was so large as to be way out of balance. We have had this dish before and it was well balanced with the linguine pasta done to perfection. Today, though, what we had was like a bowl of paste… really bad. We would hope that someone is watching the quality of every single dish that comes out of Tucci’s kitchen, and that today was a rare fluke that will never happen again Please make it so!
Mediocre at best. Food was either too salty or without flavor. Rolls came mid-dinner and were dry and stale. Disappointing. Poor value for the money.
Lunch. Good service, decent wine but very mediocre food. Was there for lunch and had a pasta dish, and the pasta was totally over cooked. I vote with my feet, but will this place I will give a second chance for dinner sometime.
