The Ma Po Tofu C115 with steamed rice was outstanding. Easily feed two adults for < $7. Soft tofu and mildly spicy, loaded with freshly cut vegetables and canned mini corn. I had to go and will return! Recommended.
Good-But used to be better. Peking House has very good food, and prices are good. I am a bit disappointed with them because they have changed their receipe for the barbeque spare ribs (bone-in). The sugar isn’t completely dissolved and has a very gritty texture. It is as if they just dipped the meat in a liquid and rolled it in brown sugar.I had to buy it a 2nd and then a 3rd time to confirm this was not a fluke or mistake but permanent and they acutally meant for the dish to be this way. I told one of the employees this change in recipe is NOT a change for the good. Their original recipe was just fine. But this is the only thing that I can say is a dissatisfier, everything else is quite good.
Aside from having the best Chinese take out in Columbus, the prices are great and the owners are good people. Wish there were more like this in town. Worth the trip…
Delicious! Fave in Cbus!. Peking House has AMAZING food at great prices. It’s my favorite chinese place in Columbus. Great service and a fantastic lunch deal. The chicken w/rice soup is to die for.
Great lunch special deal. Hot and sour soup is on point. Chicken with mixed vegetables is a great go to choice. Generals Taos with mixed veggies left a few things to be desired. Where’s the spice? The sauce was a bit sweeter and did not have the typical kick of a general Tao dish.
Best Carryout Chinese. Everybody has their favorite carryout Chinese and this is mine. Absolutely love their lo mein and fried rice dishes.
