Eat at Mitch and Mary’s!!. My favorite is the roasted duck…they’ll put it on the grill to crisp it up for you on request. Never liked chicken livers until I tried theirs…coated and fried with onions and mushrooms…served with home made mashed and gravy. Mmmmm! Delicious! Cabbage rolls are the bomb.
There was nothing bad but the signature dish, chicken paprikash, wasn’t what I was hoping for – no real flavor but tender, lots of sauce and still dry. The apple strudel was a nice surprise and about the only thing worth going back for.
Very meh. I got the famed chicken paprikash and it wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t that great. The dumplings were good, but the broth needed more seasoning. Green beans were out of a can. Dont get the cheese strudle- it’s like baked cottage cheese. The apple strudle was really good, though.
This is one of my most favorite establishments. Many old timers frequent this place and that means good value and quality. Get the chicken paprikash with cheese streudel. Enjoy, wear a bib:)
Great Food. I go here on a regular basis about one a week. Most of there food is slow cooked and super tender. They have daily specials, their roast duck is my favorite special. The Chicken Paprikash is great, falls off the bone good. :^)
Great home-made food with a friendly atmosphere. The paprikash is some of the best I have ever eaten! This place is the definition of comfort food. try the stuffed cabbage, dumplings, meatloaf, and cevapi (sausage) you will not be disappointed 😉
