Try the BORIS Beershake!. Other reviewers must have been here on a bad day; we came after the Bridgestone Invitational (it was packed), and the service was way above average. The rosemary pine nut hummus was so unique and yummy, and the beershake was ridiculous!
Bad service, overpriced beer.. Went on a night were they had a spechol beer that sounded good to my ears they were unvaling for the first time. It was on a Friday night and me working a second shift job I had to leave work early to go try it out….and spend some money…..when I arrive I run into some friends that I have not seen in some time So I thought this was going to be a good night. There were no sets to be had so I asked the bar made for a beer…. They could not serve me because I was standing. OK so I stood there aand waited I noticed several customers come in after me so at one point the group from a table got up and left when I asked the manager if I can have the seat so I could sit at the bar with my friends he already told me the seats are taken and ended up sitting two groups that came in after me at that point I decided this place doesn’t deserve my money so I decided to turn around and leave and I have yet to ever buy another product of hopping frogs or ever go back there I would recommend everyone to do the same stay far far away from this place the unless you want horrible service and overpriced beer.
Good beer, good food, poor management. Stopped by the Hoppin’ Frog after work for drinks and food with my parents. The beer menu was large and included many in house beers as well as guest beers. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The evening was very enjoyable until we had a run in with the general manager whose name was Sean. He was extremely rude to my father who was browsing the records on vinyl night. He was simply looking through the records that were out and placing the couple he wanted to hear on the top. Our waitress complimented him on being the only one to participate in vinyl night. This was apparently unacceptable to Sean. Up until this point i was looking forward to recommending this place to many of my friends. It is unfortunate that a place that has such great potential for a cool fun place to stop for drinks and food turned out to be a place i will neither return to nor recommend, due to a manager that has no business working in any kind of customers service industry.
