  First and Last Visit. My fianc and I decided to try this restaurant on our monthly date night. We wanted a nice steak dinner. There are many complaints with this place and very few good things to say. While seated for a quiet dinner there was a large group of around 30 people in the middle of the dinning room drinking and talking as if they were in a bar and no body asked them to sit at their tables. This was very distracting as our table was very close to this group. So we ordered or dinners and I asked for my steak well done, it came medium-rare. So I send it back. 15 minutes later it comes back, maybe medium, So I send it back. Another 15 minutes later it comes back done and extremely tough. I know it can be hard to make a good well-done steak but if Applebee’s can do it, this nice fancy place should be able too… So anyways I get my steak and my fianc is done with his (which was under cooked too and he only ate about half of it because of that). Management didn’t give us anything off of our bill or dessert for this major inconvenience so we left and got dessert somewhere else.So long story short, that will definitely be our first and last visit to any of the Sawmill Creek Resorts restaurants!!!
