Friendly place to eat and drink. This is a nice neighborhood bar and restaurant. The food is very good. Pot roast was great. Bob the owner was there and treated us like old friends. We will be back.
Great Food, Great People. This is that rare place where everything is just right. Gostilna is not full-of-itself fancy, nor is it a dive bar, per se.Gostilna is the perfect local bar/eatery. The menu has just the right amount of options, and everything is cooked with love. Oh, and the portions are OUT OF THIS WORLD. You will NOT leave hungry.I’ve had the burger, in several styles, and it is always great. This is one of the very few places you can order a burger cooked rare or medium and actually get it that way!The fish fry is perfect. Cabbage rolls, perfect. Meatloaf, SOOO comforting.If you go before a certain time(I think it’s 7pm, but don’t quote me) appetizers are half off! And the soups and salads are top notch as well.The drink selection is typical of the area, there’s beer, liquor, and wine. Nothing crazy, but enough options to please most people.Bob is one of the best people I have ever met. I only know him from eating there, but I am very glad I know him period. He’ll talk sports or life, or he’ll pour you a pint and cook you a burger.Do yourself a favor, and stop in. You’ll be supporting a local business, you’ll have a great meal, and you may just make a few friends.
