Return customer wont be back. The first time my Wife and I came here was on recommendation by a friend of ours. The food and service was very good on our first visit so, we decided to give it another try.The 2nd visit was a about 2 months later. My wife ordered the brisket sliders. The brisket was litterally a square lump of tough dry meat with unedible edges of fat. I ordered the pepporni flat bread which tasted like it was pre made in the freezer and cooked in a toaster oven. The waitress (didnt catch her name, dont think she told us) was monotone and acted like she did not want to be there. After our first visit we started telling our friends to give it a shot. I regret that decision now as I will most likely lose any credibility when they go and visit. Although a nice atmosphere you have a 50/50 shot on good food and good service. We will not be returning.Good luck!

Well above average. Very very good food, from the CLE board to the short rib sliders. Very nice draft and bottled beer selection, and a higher end wine list. Would go back any time.I respectfully disagree with the reviewer just below me here. There are many places in town that are not in great areas….I.e. All of Ohio City, most of Tremont, half of Cleveland Heights…..I find the comments on the atmosphere narrow-minded at best.

Not Good!!. I have tried this restaurant several times hoping it will get better since is close to the hospital I work at……But no chance of that. This last time was the worst! We had out 30th class reunion night out there. They new ahead of time we were coming, they did not have enough staff at all. The food we got was just poor quality, I mean I got bruschetta, it came on the top of a hoagie bun…for real what are we high school using whatever bread is left in the kitchen at these prices!! The pork tacos were deconstructed with on cheese lettuce and cut in half cheery tomatoes…..what a after thought! This was not Bistro food at all. Was my husbands first and last time going there…too bad neighborhood really needs good restaurants.

Went to Paragon for dinner last night and it was great! They have updated and expanded their menu. We had the fried brie, the brussel sprouts, the pierogies, the sausage board, and the short rib sandwich with fries. Everything was delicious and contrary to most reports our server was good (the blond). She was helpful and waited for us without the attitude some people give! Everytime we go to Paragon we wonder why we don’t go more often!

Service. I usually like the servers there but if you are there and come across a girl with long curly blonde hair, request someone else! she made my experience there bad, twice! the only thing i dont like about that place is the that server should not be serving.

Hit and Miss. The food is consistently good. The service is VERY hit and miss. The past few times I have been there, the female wait staff was attentive to the males at my table, but seemed to ignore and was rude, to the females at the table. This seemed new. A new tactict by the management? Guess what, if the males are married or in relationships, the females won’t be very happy = low tip. And, the bartenders are always rude.

NOT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE. For those of you with a wheelchair disability, the Paragon is not accessible. All the table are the high bar table variety and the booths in the dining room are on 12 inch risers. The bathrooms are also inaccessible. They never changed the doors over to wheelchair width so unless you can get out of your chair you’re out of luck. The staff told me about the low tables on the patio but should I patronize a place only when it’s warm and not be able to use the restroom? The owners of the Coppertop did not want to address this problem and the Paragon has done nothing either. Do something – I would be back.
