Best Korean I’ve had since being stationed at Osan. Do not judge this place by the outside appearance or else you will be missing out on some great authentic Korean food.
This place turned me on to Korean food. It’s a little family-owned hole the in wall with absolutely amazing food and a super friendly staff. For a first timers try the bibimbap, took-man-dook (can’t even begin to remember how it’s actually spelled, starts with two Ts) or the dock-bock-ee (can’t spell this one either). My favorite is the Kimchi stew, but it’s not for everyone. It’s a spicy red soup with pork, kim chi and tofu. There’s really nothing like it.
So so…. Kind of bland and overpriced.
Excellent Meal!. Best Bulgogi and Mondu I’ve had since living in Korea! The service is fast but friendly. I only wish they were open later so I could occasionally stop after work.
Horrible waitress. Called and ordered kimchi soup Togo. The Korean waitress couldn’t speak English well. She hung up. I called back many times. She hung up. When I came picked it up, she didn’t even order it yet! And her attitude was so rude. I am a regular customer. But I. Won’t ever go back again!
VERY authentic Korean food!. I’ve lived in Korea twice and this was some of the more authentic food I’ve had in the States.
Finally a decent spicy dish!. Stopped in for lunch today with a friend. Had the bulgogi- you can choose the spicyness level from 1-5. If you like piquant dishes give Yung’s Cafe a shot. The staff was friendly and courteous making you feel very welcome. The kimchi was great also and a fun accompaniment to the meal. Will definitely be back!!!
