Fast food type barbecue. A solid choice if you want chain barbecue. Good catering choice. Meat can be fatty. Meat isnt seasoned real well which requires you to cover the meat in their BBQ sauces for some flavor. Nice barn type ambiance. Good choice.

The lunch lite specials had good portions. The pulled pork and brisket were each OK but not great. Serving the cornbread as a mini-loaf is a nice touch but the middle of the bread was not cooked. The macaroni and cheese was dry.

Loved it. It’s what it is…just didn’t do 5 for the atmosphere, but it’s exactly what I expected from good BBQ. Brisket was great, moist and tender. Sauce assortment was good. Sides were fantastic and fresh. Expect to order at counter, no table service. Did bring food to us, and gave us a menu to peruse at our table until we decided.

Sometimes I want to weep inside when I come here. Lets be clear, I love City Barbecue. We moved to Findlay from Indianapolis and we were sooo excited that there was a location here. However, the Findlay locale is missing the charm and efficiency of the amazing branches we knew in Indy. The food is still stellar, the portions are generous, so it’s a great restaurant on its own, but I wish and pray for a heated sauce bar one day so folks can see what they have been missing! Also, this location needs to fix their reward scanner!! It’s been broken for months now! Fix it!

Unless you are a pitmaster, this is the only decent bbq you are going to find in Findlay.
